Tricky tricky...

February 22nd, 2007 at 11:43 am

Is it sneaky of me to switch to hubby's bank so that I can take "his" money from the joint account and withold it from him in my personal savings account?

I want to save $834 a month between us so I can show him that we saved $10,000 in a year. And it will be painless... mwahaha!

Um, yeah, that's pretty sneaky. In fact, in own personal view anyway, that's... um... a downright bad thing to do!

But then, I am not your husband, and who knows, perhaps this quite necessary if he has no sense of finances whatsoever.

Being able to siphon out as much as $800 a month-- out of a checking no less-- and not miss it... certainly does reinforce that notion that he may not have a financial clue.... No offense to your hubby. Smile
    Well, best of luck! Smile

I don't think that doing something with 'his' money without telling him, even if it is for a good cause, is a good idea.

It would actually be about $420... and it's not totally sneaky... I've been threatening that I would do it and he wouldn't even feel it... hence my need for intervention. Good replies tho - tempering my PURE evil. Wink
